This year's Miami Citysearch Best Dance Club 2006 list is out and it's got people talking.

2. Mansion
3. Automatic Slim's
4. Crobar
5. Mynt
6. Space
7. Club Deep
8. Skybar
9. SoHo Lounge
10. Nikki Beach
    

It could be because they've listed Crobar at #4, which is closed. Or maybe it's because they've got Club Deep at #7, which there is no way they even stepped foot into. Or perhaps it's because they've gotten their "dance clubs" confused, like listing Automatic Slims at #3, (#3? Did the writers even come to Miami?) which is at best a bar with a lot of guys in attendance.

The real reason is because they've managed to leave off all of the clubs that have opened up over the past year.

It's really a shame that these lists get published online, especially when tourists, who are genuinely interested in having the best time possible while in town, are presented with this cruddy advice. While we stand behind Mansion on the right night, Opium Garden/Prive complex and Mynt, we would have liked to have seen some of the new kids on the block mentioned, because after all, if you send someone you care about to Club Deep... well, just don't do it.
